Greed

In this photo series, chimpanzees embody greed’s many faces, reflecting emotions deeply rooted in human nature. They reveal envy toward others’ possessions, despite their own comforts; the shame of hidden longing, poorly masked; an intense longing for improved lives; the voyeuristic and morbid fascination of crowds; and the societal pressures on mothers, who, like all, yearn for more than sacrifice alone. These images offer a stark look into the shadows of human impulse, mirrored by our closest relatives.
